what we keep, and why

Last updated: June 2026

What we collect

  • Your email address (to sign you in).
  • Your mobile phone number (to text your reminders), once you verify it.
  • The reminders you create — their text, time, and delivery channel.
  • Messages you text us, and our logs of messages we send you, for delivery and support.

How we use it

Only to run the service: to deliver your reminders by SMS and email, to let you manage them on the web and by text, and to verify your phone number. We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing texts.

Who we share it with

We use a few service providers strictly to operate Jon's Reminders, and share only what each needs:

  • Twilio — sends and receives your text messages.
  • Resend — sends your email reminders.
  • Supabase — stores your account and reminders.
  • Upstash — schedules reminders to fire at the right time.
  • Anthropic — when you text us in plain language, the text of that message is processed by an AI model to work out what you meant (e.g. the time and the task). It is used only to interpret your request, not to train models.

We never share your phone number or opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing.

Your choices

Text STOP to stop all SMS. You can delete any reminder in the dashboard, and you can ask us to delete your account and data entirely by emailing the address below.
