What this is

Jon's Reminders is a personal reminder service. You tell us what to remember and when, and we send you a text message (and/or email) at that time. The SMS program sends you: the reminders you create, replies confirming the commands you text us (like LIST, SNOOZE, and CANCEL), and one-time codes used to verify your phone number.

How you opt in (consent)

Consent is collected through a web form. To receive texts you must:

1. Create an account at this website and open Settings.
2. Enter your own mobile number and request a verification code.
3. Enter the 6-digit code we text you. Verifying the code confirms the number is yours and is your express consent to receive reminder text messages from Jon's Reminders.

You only receive texts you ask for — reminders you set yourself, and replies to texts you send us. We never send marketing or promotional messages, and consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency

Frequency varies and depends entirely on how many reminders you set. You control it.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Jon's Reminders does not charge you for the text messages themselves.

Opt out & help

Reply STOP at any time to cancel and stop all messages. After you text STOP we send one confirmation and then send nothing further unless you opt back in by texting START. Reply HELP for help and a summary of commands, or email us at the address below.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
